REGENT ABUSAMA ATTENDS 76TH AKBAR RECITATION AND ISRA MI’RAJ COMMEMORATION IN SIPATUHU II

Banding Agung, OKU South – Regent Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) South, Abusama, S.H., attended the 76th Akbar Recitation organized in commemoration of Isra Mi’raj Nabi Muhammad SAW, located at Miftahul Jannah Mosque Block 8/9 Sipatuhu II Village, Banding Agung District, Friday (09/01/2026).
This religious activity takes place in service and is attended by elements of the South District Government of OKU, religious figures, community figures, and congregation from Village Sipatuhu II and around. This Akbar recitation becomes an important momentum in strengthening the relationship and increasing the faith and piety of Muslims.
In his reception, Regent Abusama expressed his appreciation for the organization of the activity. He hopes this Isra Mi’raj memorial can be a means of emulating the spiritual journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, particularly in improving the quality of worship and morals in daily life.
“Through this Isra Mi’raj commemoration, let’s serve as a reminder to continue to improve ourselves, improve the Islamic ukhuwah, and strengthen unity and togetherness among the community,” said the Regent.
The Regent also invites the whole community to continue to maintain harmony and peace, as well as to support the development program of the South County Government of OKU for the creation of a developed, safe, and prosperous area.
This activity ended with religious tausiyah delivered by the speaker, followed by a joint prayer for the South OKU Region to always be blessed, safety, and progress.
