THE DISTRICT OF ABUSAMA, SH. , LEADING THE COORDINATION MEETING FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE 22ND ANNIVERSARY OF OKU SOUTH DISTRICT

MUARADUA – Regent Ogan Komering South Ulu, Abusama, SH. , invite the rank of the Regional Government of OKU South together to make the series of activities of the South Sumatra Governor Working Visit, H. Herman Deru to the South OKU Region in order to attend the Plenary Meeting of the South OKU District and Run D’ Ranau.

Regent Abusama, SH. , while leading the Coordination Meeting in the Nagara Bhakti Room, Thursday (08/01/2026) revealed that the Plenary Meeting of the Anniversary of OKU South is actually an activity held every year, however this according to the Regent should not be made just a ceremonial and routine activity.

According to him, this activity can be made more useful especially attended directly by Governor Sumsel and invited guests from various areas. For that, then the Regent, in this occasion the Regent also invited the Governor to review directly to the Location that became the place of the realization of Special Financial Assistance (BKBK) from the Governor of Sumsel, which is in the South OKU.

In addition, in the series of working visits this is also Governor H. Herman Deru is scheduled to attend live at Run D’ Ranau which is the premier run. Although prime, of course various events have been held in the South OKU Region especially in the Ranau Lake Tourism Area so many things can be evaluated and learned so that this activity can run smoothly and successful.

“It is our mutual hope, of course that the activities that we will carry out will run well, smoothly and be beneficial to the South OKU Region,” he said.

Regional Secretary of the Regional OKU South, H. M. God’s mercy, S.STP. , MM. , at the same occasion disclosed that this plenary meeting became one of the highlights of commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of OKU South Region. For that, in order for this activity to run well as expected, various preparations are required to support the activity.

At this coordination meeting, it was explained by the Head of Government of Setda OKU South that the Governor’s Visit will be held on Friday-Saturday (23-24 January 2025) in order to attend the Plenary Meeting of the 22nd Anniversary of OKU South Region and Run D’ Ranau activities.

Present at this coordination meeting are representatives of Kajari OKU South, representatives of Dandim 0403/OKU, representatives of South OKU Police Chief, assistants, members of staff, OPD Heads, Kabag, and the district.
